How Does It Work

This new formulation contains more Vitamin C which is known to fight free radicals and provide antioxidant protection. It also contains Hydroquinone which reduces the formation of melanin inside the body. This pigment is responsible for skin darkening. It also contains sun screen which will protect your skin from sun exposure sensitivity especially since there is Hydroquinone present in the product.

Glyquin XM should be applied with just a small amount to the areas affected. This has to be done twice a day. Since it contains strong acting ingredients, this product and directions of use should be coming from a doctor.

40mg Hydroquinone USP, 80mg Octocrylene USP, 30 mg Avobensone USP, 40mg oxybenzone USP, triethanolamine NF, Purified water USP, ascorbyl palmitate NF, edentate disodium USP, pyloxyl 4 lauryl ether, poloxamer 407 NF, propylene glycol USP, benzalkonium chloride, propyl gallate, vitamin E USP, glycolic acid, glycerol monosterate, lemon extract and Hyaluronic acid.

The Good and the Bad

Pros:

• SPF 15 has been added which is a good complement especially since the product contains Hydroquinone.
• Hyaluronic acid is a very effective ingredient for skin beautification.

Cons:

• Other users reported a sticky feel of the product.
• A sunburned look was observed by other users.
• Extreme reactions to other users caused skin stain.

Bottom Line

This product is effective in lessening dark spots due to its powerful ingredients. Though it is a one track product which is only effective in addressing one skin problem. The inclusion of Hydroquinone is also a questionable aspect as it is a suspected carcinogen.
